Having reached its 36th edition, the most important event in the world of artisan gelato returns to Rimini, confirming its status as the primary European showcase in the sectors of confectionary, bakery and coffee.
Over 175 thousand visitors from home and abroad are expected to fill the halls of Rimini Fiera, where they will find the latest in basic materials and ingredients, machinery and equipment and an array of furniture and fittings for the ice cream and bakery sectors. The 4-day event (17-21 January) will also include thematic sections, international contests and competitions, demos, refresher courses and seminars and enticing displays.
The exhibition will take up 16 halls, covering over 110 thousand sqm and this year it will also host AB-TECH EXPO, an event that brings together the artisanal and industrial sectors, presenting the most innovation solutions for the world of bread, pizza, pastry and confectionery. Cookery enthusiasts will also be catered for in RHEX – Rimini Horeca EXPO, featuring important chefs and excellent Made in Italy produce.
The SIGEP exhibition will be packed with exciting events: the Gelato World Cup, Pastry World Championships for young Italian and International pastry chefs, Barman of the Year bread talent show and pastry events.
