Rimini and Bologna get even closer

Travelling and moving around Bologna, Rimini and the Riviera is now becoming easier, faster and more affordable. In addition to traditional means of transport such as trains and cars, there is now the innovative option of the “RiminiBologna Shuttle”, conceived and put into action by “Vip Srl”, part of the San Marino group, “Fratelli Benedettini”, in collaboration with Bologna Airport.

From January 16, located in the pit lanes at Rimini Station, and in front of the Passenger Terminal at Bologna Airport, you can find shuttles seating from 19 to 24 people - Euro 5/6 rating with low consumption and low environmental impact - providing transport between the two cities with 5 outbound and 5 inbound trips, 365 days a year. The first trip to Rimini leaves at 4.00am and the last trip to Bologna leaves at 11.30pm, with the timetable corresponding to the peak departure and arrival times of main national and international flights at Bologna airport.

Travelling on the "Rimini-Bologna Shuttle" is comfortable, fast and affordable. All the vehicles are equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and mini-bar. The journey time is approximately an hour and a half and the rates vary from €20 per person for bookings online, in agencies or at the airport, and €25 for tickets purchased directly on the shuttle. Children up to 14 years old pay €8, whereas children under 4 years travel free of charge. Promotional €1 tickets are also available on some trips.
