137,000 visitors at the Palacongressi in April

The conference season is in full swing, with the number of conferences, participants and visitors increasing at the Palacongressi. This April, over 50,000 conference attendees are expected for the 18 meetings scheduled - two to three days work sessions -  for a total of137,000 visitors who will flock to the Rimini area and enjoy its warm welcome and hospitality.

 
The line-up includes the two events organized by "Avvenimenti", 6 days overall (from 2nd-4th and from 24th-26th April), with approximately 35,000 participants expected, to be hosted within the halls of the trade fair centre. The Italian Freemasonry organisation will return to Rimini for its 15th consecutive year thanks to the "Grand Orient of Italy and the "Grand Lodge 2015 - The courage of ideas, the consistency of actions", from 10-12 April. The second event on the agenda is the XII National Congress "AIMN - Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging" (16-19 April), gathering together 4,000 physicians, researchers and academics. .
 
In addition, there will be an array of smaller events in terms of numbers but of significant economic and topical importance, such as the Banca Generali Rimini seminar (15 April) and the Credimpex Italia meeting, sponsored by the Ministries of Economic Development and Foreign Affairs, with the participation of the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Benedetto Della Vedova. Enterprises will be interested in the technical seminar organised by "Malagrida Group", an industrial leader in waterproofing, in addition to the seminar byRoberto Re "Change without fear" scheduled for 15 April. 
 
Six more events will be held from 21 to 24 April, among them the "XI National FAILP-CISAL Italian Postal and Communications Workers Congress" and the "21st NCS Convention Herbalife Nutrition Coach Seminar". There will also be two events dedicated to the educational world. The first, the "Salone dello Studente", an exhibition for students which is expected to attract more than 5,000 participants, and the second, the meeting "From the Arab Spring to the IS caliphate. What went wrong?", organised by the students' council and the Rimini Education Office, under the project "C'entro anch'io", with the participation of Domenico Quirico, special correspondent of the newspaper "La Stampa " and Rodolfo Casadei, reporter for the weekly publication, "Tempi".
